Ready for Rio 2016: ANCO homepage adapts to Brazilian market

Only 3 more months to go for the Olympic Games to start in Brazil. Our homepage is all set to be part of the Olympic excitement and is now available in Portuguese for the Brazilian market.

“Brazilian agribusiness is, above all, competitive. Not only in terms of servicing its enormous domestic market (the Brazilian consumer spends US$ 150 billion per year) but also in commercial production of commodities for export” (Fabiana Ferreira Alves, director at Rural Banking, Rabobank Brazil, 2016)

Brazil is the largest world exporter of sugar, coffee, oranges, soybeans, poultry and beef. In 2015 it was estimated that the Brazilian feed mill and feed additives industry had reached almost 69 million tons (Feed&Food 2016).

ANCO wants to make a contribution to competitive animal production globally with cost-effective feed solutions.
We wish all athletes the very best in their preparations for the 2016 Olympics in RIo.
Go for gold!! Rumo ao Ouro!!

Agile concepts are known to drive the speed of growth and competitive advantage in the modern business world. The application of agility to animal nutrition is an entirely new approach for more profitability in competitive animal production.

Gut agility is a new term coined to describe the animal’s ability to adapt to nutritional stressors in a faster and more energy-efficient response than it normally would.

Gwendolyn Jones writes about applying agile concepts in pig nutrition in the following article, published by WATT Pig International May/June issue and WATT Feed Management May/June
